Lime Tree Lodge is set on a ten-acre estate just outside Lake Wanaka Lodge. It is marked on the upper Clutha River map.

Accommodation

The Lodge

The Lodge's rustic Central Otago exterior, featuring local schist stone, opens up into a modern and stylish interior, with no expense spared on making the surroundings comfortable for guests.

Guestrooms

The Lodge offers four luxuriously-appointed en-suite guestrooms and two private suites, each with their own French doors that open out to an expansive veranda and gardens with magnificent views of the Southern Alps.

Each room is a restful haven with:

  • King or super-king size beds clad in crisp cotton and designer linens
  • Quality 'lime-infused' Linden Leaves toiletries 
  • Garden access and garden furniture

  • Enjoy hearty breakfasts including fresh fruit; home-bottled stone-fruits, home-made muesli, marmalade chutneys and preserves; local honey, bacon, gourmet sausages and free range eggs from their own hens; freshly ground plunger or espresso coffee and an extensive range of Harney & Sons Fine Teas.
  • Complimentary aperitifs, including hand-made cheeses, home-made pates and local delicacies such as whitebait fritters, local river salmon and Bluff oysters
  • Fine central Otago wines and the Lodge's own Vodka lime gimlets, made with freshly squeezed lime juice.
  • Delectable dinners prepared by professional chef

Room rates range from $395 to $595 a night (including GST) and include:

  • A freshly-prepared breakfast
  • Complimentary aperitifs in the evening
  • All day tea and coffee, home-baking and fresh fruit; mineral water and chocolates
  • Courtesy transfers into Wanaka

3-course dinner: $150 per person including wine: Note: must be booked with minimum 24 hours notice

Conditions

Check-in is 3:00 pm. Check out is 10:00 am.

To confirm your reservation, a deposit of 25% of the total stay, secured by a credit card, is required. The balance is due on check-out, together with any other sundries.

VISA, AMEX and Mastercard are accepted.

Cancellation policy

In the event that a cancelled booking cannot be replaced, the following applies:

  • 25% of the total cost will be charged if the booking is cancelled within 30 days of arrival.
  • 100% will be charged if the cancellation is received within 14 days or for non-arrival
