  • The wilderness section of the upper Tongariro River, with its cold, crystal clear natural pools and runs, provides fishing away from other anglers from December 1st to May 31st
  • Tongariro River Rafting take pride in being able to provide trips to suit different requirements and timeframes:
    - Individuals, small and large groups
    - From two hours to a week long
    - Overnight trips from two half days to five days

Cancellations To ensure safety, Tongariro River Rafting reserves the right to to cancel or alter trips due to adverse weather or river conditions/trail conditions, or if a client is unsuitable due to age, size, ill health or poor fitness. There will be no credit refund if a participant is excluded from any trip due to being under the influence or alcohol or drugs. There is no credit refund if a confirmed booking is not taken up, unless Tongariro River Rafting cancels the trip.
