Fishing methods

While kingfish can be caught by a number of methods, catching one on a fly is the ultimate. These poewerful fish, renown for their intelligence, power, explosive speeds and guile, they remain a trophy fish for any angler.

Other fish such as kahawai, tuna and snapper can also be caught on the fly all of which are worthy opponents challenging the skill (and stamina) of the angler.

Freshwater fishing

As well as guiding clients on the sea flats around Tauranga, Julian is also a freshwater guide.
